VALIANT AND DART

The factory installed unit has been redesigned, it is suspended under the instrument panel.

PLYMOUTH AND DODGE

The cooling outlets on the top of the instrument panel are redesigned, separately mounted, and wider apart.

IMPERIAL, CHRYSLER AND DODGE-880

A new cooling outlet has been added on the right side of the passenger compartment, which provides better air distribution.

IMPERIAL, CHRYSLER AND DODGE-880

A new rear unit is used on Imperial and Chrysler Models. New cooling outlets provides better distribution and improved rear window defogging.

"O" RING SEALS

"O" Ring seals will be used on all refrigerant lines on all models except Valiant and Dart.

Imperial
  • Front Unit � 3 7/8 to 4 1/8 lbs.
  • Dual Unit - 4 7/8 to 5 1/8 lbs.
Chrysler and Dodge 880
  • � Front Unit - 3 1/8 to 3 3/8 lbs.
  • Dual Unit - 3 7/8 to 4 1/8 lbs.
Plymouth and Dodge
  • 2 5/8 to 2 7/8 lbs.
Valiant and Dodge
  • 2 1/8 to 2 3/8 lbs.

Heli-Grip Clutch

A new rear unit is used on Imperial and Chrysler Models. New cooling outlets provides better distribution and improved rear window defogging.

Lower cooling temperatures will be obtained on Imperial Models by increasing compressor speed and performance with a pulley change and a new heli-grip compressor clutch. The idle speeds on various tests has been changed on the Imperial models because of the pulley change on the compressor.

The Imperial will also have a new subcooler located in front of the condenser. It may be necessary, in extreme cases, to loosen the subcooler mounting bolts and clean bugs from the front of the condenser. These can normally be cleaned by blowing air thru the radiator, condenser and subcooler.
