To get great rechroming work, along with the big savings of the Canadian dollar (about 64 US cents, these days), call: Cambridge Custom Chrome at 1-800-268-9935.
They pick up parts in Buffalo every Tuesday, and bring them back to Cambridge, ON for rechroming. I would assume (better ask them, directly, though) that they then take the rechromed parts back to their location in Buffalo, NY, for shipping to the customer. This way, the customer doesn't have to deal with any cross-border customs headaches, and, of course, the shipping costs within the US are way lower than in Canada.
That's the business side of their operation. They also happen to do really great work, which is also important to some of us old car owners. They've done big jobs for me (4 sets of bumpers for my 1961 Cadillacs all at once) and little jobs too (inside mirror stems for the Cadillacs and the corner pieces for the roof rack on my 1958 Chrysler Wagon). I haven't had any problem yet.

i have dealing with cambridge custom for @30 yrs with them in upstate ny now that i'm in tx with a new shop i will be sending more. the work they do on pot metal is the best i have seen. my 48 dodge 4 dr was a documented show winner.

I have been doing business with Cambridge for over 35 years and they are without a doubt the best chrome company I have ever worked with. They have done about 15 complete jobs on my collection of Cars and they are excellent.
