Butch Gregory, owner of Southern Bumper Exchange in Atlanta, has rechromed both the front and rear bumpers for my '65 Crown convert. as well as the rear bumper and taillight housings for my '66 Eldorado convert. His workmanship is outstanding and his prices are most reasonable. n He does repairs as well as rechroming. He uses the copper/nickel/chrome process with lots of buffing in between steps. He is a super nice guy to deal with and stands behind his work. He mentioned to me a guy contacted him a while back about a bumper he had done twenty years ago. There was some pitting or peeling beginning to show and Butch rechromed it for free! How's that for a warranty! Actually, I believe his warranty is for one year but he stood behind his work and redid this guy's bumper after that long! I wouldn't think of switching to anyone else and would highly recommend him.

I'll second the recommendations given about Southern Bumper Exchange's rechroming. I've recently had them redo the front and rear bumpers and many other pot metal pieces of trim on my '61 (MaeWest), and currently they are working on a few other pieces I needed in the restoration work. They are very friendly and easy to work with and produce an excellent result. My house is in South Carolina so I drive the 3-4 hours over to Atlanta to pick my things up but I actually work overseas most of the time and have dealt with them a lot long-distance. They have always worked with me on my schedule and done a great job.
Just thought I'd second the opinion already provided about them. Great results and good people to deal with. They're located East of the Airport in Atlanta. Butch Gregory and his wife run the place.

Good feedback guys. I have a 1949 DeSoto and I had Southern Bumper redo by front and back bumpers. They came out looking brand new...perfect workmanship. I have since sent them some additional smaller pieces needing rechroming. They are not the fastest but they do good work.
