Here is what Rod had to say about his Imperials:

April 7, 2011

Just picked up my CH chrysler imperial sedan only 36,500 miles still registered and never been restored. what a great car.

April 24, 2011

just purchased a 1932 imperial sedan in original condition with 36,519 miles not bad for eighty years of driving. the cases in the trunk on the back still have their tags on them from new.

July 7, 2011

I also have a 1926 tourer E80 and an E80 roadster both restored. there are photos on my facebook page or google rod hokin chrysler.

just purchased 1932 CH imperial sedan, 36,500 original miles, unrestored, great time capsule, found it on hemmings will be here in Australia in 3 weeks, photos also on my facebook page. I'm very lucky to have four early imperials.

I also have a restored 1928 L80 sedan in melbourne australia. This same car broke the speed record across Australia in 1929 over dirt roads approx. 5,ooo miles from Fremantle to Sydney, averaging 55 mph in less than 4 days have all the paper work with the car.

Purchased last year (2014)

The 1927 E80 7 passenger is a nice original car, it has been repainted for a wedding car hirer.

I purchased it off a friend who bought it from the original owner. Very low mileage car .

All these cars are daily drivers, and I do drive all of them often, I just use them as every day cars and nothing really special, I just love the era and the model, I am lucky to have them and I do show them. But they are not wrapped up in cotton wool.

Everyone is welcome to look anytime.
