A 1938 Imperial C-19 Sedan

Imperial Home Page -> Imperials by Year -> 1938 -> A 1938 Imperial C-19 Sedan

We recently saw this Imperial sedan for sale. Here's what the owner had to say about this beauty:

An Art Deco delight, this 1938 Chrysler Imperial Four Door Sedan is complete and everything works except the clock. It was repainted a Medium Sapphire Blue Poly about 10 years ago and still looks great. Most of the chrome is excellent except the trunk hinges. The interior is orginial and has some stains, small tears and wear. The engine is the orginial and runs great but does burn some oil.

This is the C-19 Model Chrysler Imperial on a 125" wheelbase.The flat head straight eight is 298.6 cu.in. that produces 110 HP. Included with the car is the proper Parts Manual, Shop Manual, and Repair - Tune -up Manual.

This is the best driving antique car in our collection. It starts right up, shifts smoothly, doesn't sound like a pile of junk going down the road, goes where it is pointed, runs comfortably at 60 MPH and stops in a straight line. The brakes were completely redone three years ago. We have driven it on trips of nearly 350 miles without any trouble

If you're the new owner come and join The Imperial Club and tell us more about this beauty!
