Right-Hand-Drive Imperial in England

Imperial Home Page -> Imperials by Year -> 1939 -> Right-Hand-Drive Imperial in England

From: Alan Cook

My brother owns a 1939 Chrysler Imperial 8 cylinder sedan. The car was shipped from the States to the UK "ckd" before the Second World War and assembled at Chrysler, Kew (now part of London). It is a right hand drive version. He recently went to the States and managed to buy 3 hub caps.

Unfortunately the 6 cylinder versions are different to the 8 cylinder.

Are there any other members with 1939 sedans out there?

Look forward to hearing from you

Alan Cook
