Despite some wear, this car is absolutely stunning. The leather is in good shape, the buzzer to "call" the driver still functions, and the owner claims it is the only one made with a/c. He also said that it was used to escort foreign diplomats.

Notice the "blackout" trunklid-mounted license-plate holder. Since there was a war going on, chromium and nickle were rationed, so late '42 models had to settle for painted pot-metal parts, if there weren't any chrome-plated extras still in inventory.. Notice the stainless-steel strips on the rear fenders. Only the '42 Chryslers had those fender-strips.
