Phil Johnson's 1961 Convertible

Imperial Home Page -> Imperials by Year -> 1961-> Phil Johnson Convertible

The below are notes from Phil on his convertible:

The previous owner bought the car in 1974 for 500 bucks. He did some work on it, put a top on it, and cruised with it until 1983.  He got a DUI in 1983, lost his license and parked the car. He died in 1997 and his wife locked the door to the pole barn. She died in March of 2009 and then in March of 2010 they started cleaning out.  I heard about it and the deal was made.

It has power windows and power seats. The leather seats are dry rotted but remarkably it is all there.
