Optional Equipment On The 1990-1993 Chrysler Imperials

The 1990 had more standard equipment then the other years, but only came with the 3.3L V6, as the 3.8 didn't see production until the 1991 product line- and even then it was optional equipment.

Generally speaking, for all three years, these cars all came with the vinyl roof (despite it being classified by Chrysler as optional equipment and not standard equipment). A majority of these cars had leather seats, and it was rare for these cars to not have the leather seats or the vinyl roof. The only transmission used by these cars was the A604 4-speed automatic with overdrive.

Some options were put together as sets. For example, if you got cruise control, you also had a tilt steering wheel (and vise versa). The navigation system and integrated phone were almost always installed on these cars as a set.

The 1991 year had a "Mark Cross Edition" package, which was a beefed up model with more options included on the car. This was the only year to have such an equipment package. Interestingly, from this year on, the Alloy wheels were optional (despite the original idea of the alloy wheels being standard equipment).

Here is a break down of standard and optional equipment (broken down by year).
