The Southern California Imperial Owners, Inc. (SCIOI) is sponsoring the 2008 Statewide Meet, which will take place in Bakersfield, CA, April 24 to 27. We would like to invite you to participate in this wonderful opportunity for Imperialists to have a fun filled weekend of �tire-kicking� and camaraderie among the historical sights (which may include shopping at the antique shops or going to the Golden West Casino, for those so inclined).

Host Hotel:������ Four Points by Sheraton (a non-smoking hotel).����� Check in time is after 3:00pm

Request �Reservations� then identify yourself with the �Imperial Car Owners� to get our group rate of $99.� Our block of 40 rooms will be held until April 8^th; after then the regular rates will apply.� The rooms have either one king or two queens beds.� The hotel does not have an elevator to the second floor; so if you need a downstairs room, please request it.� For those of you that can climb one flight of stairs but need help with your luggage, the hotel will have an attendant carry it for you at no extra cost.

Thursday Activities, April 24:

11:00am leave hotel for lunch at Wool Growers Basque Restaurant located at 620 E. 19^th Street.

� 1:40pm leave restaurant for guided tour of the Buena Vista Museum located at 2018 Chester Ave.

� 3:30pm return to the hotel or go to Dewar�s Candy & Ice Cream Shop located at 1120 Eye Street.

� 4:45pm leave hotel in car pools (with designated drivers) going to Buck Owen�s Crystal Palace and Museum located at 2800 Buck Owens Blvd.

Friday Activities, April 25:

� 9:00am leave hotel for the California Living Museum located at 10500 Alfred Harrell Hwy.

11:30am arrive Kern County Museum located at 3801 Chester Ave. for a self guided tour and Box Lunch

� 6:30pm Welcoming Reception in the San Joaquin Room located at the hotel.

Saturday Activities, April 26:

Car Show and Member Judging at the hotel.

No-host Reception followed by the Awards Banquet and Raffle.

Mail together with your Registration and/or Tee Shirt Fees to the SCIOI no later than Tuesday, March 25, 2008 (postmarked).� The final itinerary will be included with your confirmation letter.
