Jerry Lewis in a throwaway comedy, save for a great scene in which Anna Maria Alberghetti rides up to his mansion (same house later used in the Beverly Hillbillies) in a violet-colored 1956 Imperial Parade Phaeton with white leather interior.  This is one of 3 parade phaetons designed by Virgil Exner and built in 1952; all were later updated to 1956 styling, as is the one in the movie.  Visit our Parade Phaeton page for more information on these wonderful cars.

Below are several still pictures from the movie.  In order to play, just click any of the pictures below--click on a small picture for a small (4.3 Meg) movie, or a large picture to view a larger, high quality clip suitable for viewing in "full-screen" mode; file size is 32 Meg. The dopey plot of the movie has a Princess visiting America; Jerry Lewis watches as she glides up in style in a lilac-colored 1956 Imperial Parade Phaeton.
