This SciFi classic from 1966 features 1964 Imperials in the opening scenes of the movie, both before and after the credits.

Another car bears down on the diplomat's 1964 Imperial and crashes into it in an assassination attempt.

The car bursts into flames, and the diplomat is quickly transferred to another car.

And all this happens even before the opening credits!

A scientist is called in the middle of the night for a mission as yet unknown to him, but which will involve shrinking down to microscopic level and entering the diplomat's body in order to save him.

Naturally, for a top-secret, vital mission such as this, he too is picked up in a 1964 Imperial!

The scientist and the Imperial arrive at a secret location, where he's told to remain inside the car...

...as it descends on a secret platform to a laboratory below.

There, he's picked up by scientists. Last view of the '64 Imperial is probably the clearest available, since the early scenes are otherwise so dark.
