I Love Lucy "The Tour"

Imperial Home Page -> Screen Stars -> 1955 -> I Love Lucy

In this I Love Lucy episode, Lucy and Ethel go on a bus tour of movie stars' homes; in one scene, a 1955 Imperial Newport (2-dr. coupe) pulls along side the bus.  Lucy later gets off the bus to pick a grapefruit at the home of Richard Widmark, falls inside the wall surrounding his house and can't get out.

From Jeff Stork:

This episode was even more "on location" than you had imagined. The backyard tree was not Richard Widmark's, but rather Lucille Ball's own home in real life, 1000 Roxbury. She lived between Jack Benny and James Stewart - maybe one of them had the Imperial.
