About these photographs
These are factory images for the 1955 Imperial, the year Virgil Exner’s “Forward Look” gave the new Imperial Division its split egg-crate grille and free-standing “gunsight” taillights. Body styles seen here include the Newport two-door hardtop and the four-door sedan.
Photo text status: Image descriptions completed. None of the 1955 photographs carry a printed press caption (described-only); descriptions are the searchable text layer.
