This rare survivor 1957 SEDAN was seen offered for sale on Ebay in August of 2014.

It has the unusual pop-out rear side window, and also has the Crown/LeBaron hubcaps. The data plate says it is definitely a Crown.

Here's what the seller had to say about this interesting car.........

Interior Color: Blue

Mechanically, it runs and drives well for the age of the car. It steers / turns stops as expected. The gauges appear to work as do the headlights. The car also stops well. Cosmetically, this is the nicest original early Chrysler Hemi we have encountered. It is in nice cosmetic condition but not perfect as you can see. Please see the photos and read the description to have a better gauge of vehicle condition.

You are looking at an original survivor 1957 Chrysler Imperial Crown with low original miles and a 392 Hemi engine. It has had what we believe to be two owners and has been well taken care of.....

This vehicle is in outstanding original condition. We believe the mileage to be original as well as mostly original paint.

Mechanically, it runs and drives very well. The brakes were done a while back and still work great. Currently, the car has had a recent tune up and the original carb is still present.

Cosmetically, the current owner has not replaced anything in the interior. We are unsure but believe this may be the original paint. The seats do show some wear, However, it is minor and could easily be reconditioned by an expert. Also note that all the exterior panels appear to be original and we could not detect any major bodywork or accidents.

The car runs and drives extremely well for the age. We were impressed with the outstanding cosmetic and mechanical condition, as well as the fairly rust free nature of this car. This may be one of the nicest unmolested originals on the planet and the condition is as nice in person as it is in the photos. These early Hemi cars as well as the atomic age styling are truly an American icon.
