Imperial Crown was the best selling model of the line-up for 1961. 4769 were produced at $5,647 per copy.

The LeBaron was offered only as a 4-door hardtop. Nine Ghia-built Limousines were built but were not fitted with the new free-standing headlamps.

Unique to the LeBaron was the smaller "town car" rear window. LeBaron was the most expensive regular production Imperial with only 1,026 built.
