Notes On Optional Equipment

1. 98.8% of all 1964 Imperials were equipped with radios; 95% had tinted glass, 77.5% had air conditioning, and 28.8% were equipped with the adjustable steering wheel.

2. Selected two-tone color combinations were available on the Crown Coupe, Crown Four-Door and LeBaron. Two-tones were not available on Convertibles or Limousines.

3. The 6-Way power seat option on Crown Four-Doors is an upgrade from a manually-operated front seat.

4. Crown Coupes and Convertibles are equipped as standard equipment with "Executive Aircraft" individual bucket seats, each with its own 4-way power control, a recliner on the passenger side, and movable center armrest. The passenger side seat also included a locking seatback, with a release lever accessible to rear seat passengers.

5. The Executive Aircraft or "bucket seat" interior of the Crown Coupe and Crown Convertible was available in the Crown Four-Door and LeBaron, by special order. Each individual seat was equipped with a separate 4-Way power control. The price differential is accounted for by the fact that power controls were standard in the LeBaron, optional on the Crown.

6. Leather interiors are standard equipment in all Crown Convertibles. Gray or tan broadcloth in the rear compartment, and black leather in the front compartment were standard equipment on Limousines. Cloth and leather combinations were standard equipment in all other models, with full leather available as an option.

7. Solex Tinted Glass ($53.75) was mandatory when air conditioning was ordered.

8. Introductory showroom catalogues list headrests as standard equipment in Crown Coupes and Convertibles. They were in fact optional, at an additional charge of $45.60.

9. Introductory showroom catalogues list leather seating as standard equipment in Crown Coupes. Full leather was in fact optional, at an additional charge of $104.30. Standard Crown Coupe interiors were combination bedford cord and leather.

10. Crown Four-Doors equipped with optional leather interiors are in the sew style of the LeBarons, and not in the same "biscuit" pattern as the standard Crown cloth and leather combinations.
