The story goes on..

Last summer (2004) my 1964 Imperial had been stored in local car clubs "garage" for 2 years. (During the two year storing period those idiots scratched the right fender!!) I haven't had a chance to drive with the car for a long time. I was considering to start rebuilding of that 413 cid V8 and aluminum transmission. That's why my friend, who imported my 1964 Crown and those two other 1964's to Finland tried to sell his extra-rebuilt-413 engine for me. And all the parts from that parted out '64 LeBaron. I had a very fair price for all this stuff and bought them.

He had sold his convertible in 2000 (?). It finally went to Lappeenranta and the new owner painted it and made the upholstery. It looked much better! My friend is more for Lincolns so selling the '64 Convertible wasn't a surprise.

So, last summer, I was really in need of money. I had a small loan I wanted to pay back, and also I had a feeling that all the money I spent for painting and fixing my car was wasted, because I would have to redo the painting anyway. I decided to sell it. Only one ad, and one caller. It was enough. The guy had searched one for a long time, and now he got it. I was satisfied with the price I got from it, and I guess the buyer was satisfied with the car. (He hasn't brought it back, so.. :) )

OK, I had the parts from that disassembled LeBaron, rebuilt engine and a lack of 1964 Imperial. I remember my brother seeing an ad on Ebay from Kenyon Wills. He was selling a low-mile 1964 Imperial LeBaron for a cheap price. My brother was interested in buying the car earlier, but I didn't let him to do that. He didn't have much money at the time (being a student himself), but was more interested of buying the Imperial than food for himself!

I guess he was a little bit mad, when I said that I was going to buy it ;). Well, now he only laughs for the whole thing.
